I'm an interdisciplinary designer that feels as much at home in a studio environment as I do in a busy industrial workshop.
During my studies of interactive Media in NYU Abu Dhabi, I have discovered a love for making everyday, familiar things that surprise and bring delight through new unexpected functions, forms, or materials.
I strive to participate and contribute to every phase of the design process - from research and strategy, to the actual production, whether physics-based procedural animation, a quick proof-of-concept soldered onto a breadboard, or a new brand experience.
I was fortunate to exhibit my designs at Dubai Design Week, Sikka festival, and Parsons in NYC.
For the last several years I have been contributing to product-, service-, and experience-design projects across Lithuania, the UK and the USA, notably with design and technology studio Pilot Lab, and research and strategy studio CRITICAL.
Available on request: a chat, my references, and, if pressed, a case for why the phrase “surprise and bring delight” describes my breadboard wiring too.
